Repair Consultation

All repair services begin with a required consultation so I can assess your crown and understand the specific type of repair you need. Whether you’re dealing with breakage, thinning, matted hair, or want to take down or rework your locs, we’ll take time to talk through your hair history and desired outcome. During our consultation, I’ll explain the repair process in detail, answer any questions, and help you understand what kind of results to expect. This step ensures we’re aligned on care, pricing, and what’s possible based on your hair’s current condition.

About Service

Repair services are for clients who need focused, restorative work on their locs or scalp. This includes half head or full head repairs, reattaching broken locs, rebuilding thinning areas, creating new locs to replace lost ones, detangling matted hair, full loc takedowns (picked out gently), and resizing or redefining parts. These services are customized to what your hair needs most and are performed with care to preserve as much of your natural hair as possible. Every appointment is rooted in health, patience, and a deep understanding of loc structure. I do not offer interlocking, sisterlocks, or microlocs.

after care

After a repair service, it’s important to follow a consistent maintenance routine—wear a bonnet at night, oil once or twice a week, and wash every two weeks. If you’ve had locs reattached, I recommend coming in regularly every 4 to 6 weeks for the first five months to ensure they seal properly and remain strong. After that, you can return to your preferred maintenance schedule based on your loc style. I’ll check your progress during each visit and make suggestions to keep your crown strong and secure. Staying on track with follow-up care gives your repairs the best chance of lasting long term.

how to book

To book a repair service, go to the Book Online page and select the Repair category. Choose the service that fits your needs—whether it’s reattachments, part reforming, detangling, or takedown—then select your hair length or area of focus. The earliest available dates will appear; pick the one that fits your schedule and submit your deposit to secure the appointment. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the remaining balance due at the end of your service. Be sure to review each service description and my Policy Page before booking to ensure you're prepared.
