Kids Services are designed for clients ages 4 to 12, offering gentle, full head loc maintenance—including washing, retwisting, styling, and trimming—with extra care and patience for our youngest crowns.

New Client Consultation
For kids ages 4 to 12, a New Client Consultation is required before booking any services. If your child is coming in for repairs—such as thinning, breakage, or detangling—a Repair Consultation must be booked as their first appointment. I do not offer loc extensions for kids, and a parent or legal guardian must be present during the consultation. This time allows us to discuss your child’s hair history, care routine, and what’s needed to support a healthy, positive loc journey. It also gives your child a chance to get comfortable with me before their service begins.
About Service
Kids Services offer gentle, full head maintenance for clients ages 4 to 12, including a full wash and palm roll retwist, trimming, and styling when requested. I take extra care with young crowns to make sure they’re comfortable throughout the appointment while still receiving high-quality, intentional loc care. You can also add a detox soak or hot oil treatment based on your child’s hair needs. All services are performed with patience, professionalism, and products that support healthy hair and scalp. I do not offer interlocking, sisterlocks, or microlocs.
after care
Keeping your child’s locs healthy starts with good home care: have them sleep with a bonnet, cleanse their hair every two weeks, and oil their scalp once or twice a week. Avoid keeping styles in longer than two weeks to prevent buildup and tension at the roots. Your child’s maintenance schedule depends on their loc style: once a month or 1.5 months for manicured locs, every 2 months for semi-freeform, and every 3 months for freeform. Consistency helps support strong, healthy growth while keeping their experience positive. I’ll also offer home care tips to help you support their journey between visits.
how to book
To book a Kids Service, visit the Book Online page and select the Kids category. Choose the service you’re booking—such as a wash and retwist or styling—then select your child’s hair length. The earliest available appointment dates will appear; choose the one that fits your schedule and pay the deposit to secure the appointment. You’ll receive a confirmation email with the remaining balance due after the service. Be sure to read through the service descriptions and the Policy Page before booking, especially if this is your child’s first time in the chair.
