New Client Consultation
Before booking a full head service, I require a consultation if you’re a new client or if it’s been over four months since your last maintenance. This gives us time to review your loc history, assess your current hair condition, and talk about any concerns or changes you may want to make—whether it’s color, a trim, or a new style direction. We’ll also go over my policies, pricing, booking process, and any prep you’ll need to complete before your appointment. It’s all about making sure your crown gets the care it needs and we’re on the same page before you sit in my chair.
About Service
Full Head Services are designed for clients with a complete set of locs and include everything your crown needs to stay clean, healthy, and thriving. I’ll start with a full wash and retwist using the palm roll method, followed by any styling, trimming, color, or treatments we’ve discussed. You can also add on services like a detox soak (ACV), hot oil treatment, or a color refresh depending on your hair’s needs and goals. Every appointment is customized to support the integrity of your locs while keeping your look fresh and intentional. As always, I only use natural methods and do not offer interlocking or sister/microloc services.
after care
To keep your locs healthy between appointments, I recommend wearing a bonnet while sleeping to protect your style and reduce frizz. You should cleanse your hair every two weeks, oil your scalp once or twice a week, and avoid keeping styles in for longer than two weeks to prevent buildup or tension. Your formal maintenance schedule depends on your loc style: once a month or 1.5 months for manicured locs, every 2 months for semi-freeform, and every 3 months if you’re choosing a freeform journey. Staying consistent with this routine helps prevent thinning, breakage, and scalp issues while keeping your crown looking its best. I’ll always guide you through what’s best based on your hair’s needs at each appointment.
how to book
To book your Full Head Service, go to the Book Online page and select the Full Head category. From there, choose the service you’re looking for—whether it's a wash and retwist, detox soak, island twist styling, or a family booking—then select your hair length. Once that’s done, the earliest available appointment dates will appear; just pick the time that works best for you and pay the deposit to lock it in. You’ll get an email confirmation with the remaining balance due at the end of your appointment.
