Wicks Consultation
Before booking, you’ll need to schedule a consultation to make sure we choose the right path for your crown. If you’re interested in a crochet retwist, a New Client Consultation is required to assess your hair type and make sure this method is a good fit—especially for clients with 1A to 3A textures or long periods of new growth. If you’re looking to start or maintain wicks, a Wick Consultation is required so we can discuss sizing, method, and long-term care. During our consultation, we’ll review your hair goals, history, and the maintenance needed to support healthy growth and longevity.
About Service
Crochet services are ideal for clients with straighter textures (1A–3A) or for those who prefer a firmer, more structured maintenance method using a crochet hook to retwist and tighten new growth. Wick services are designed for those starting wicks from loose natural hair or maintaining and combining existing wicks. Both services require precision, patience, and a professional approach to maintain structure and scalp health. While color, styling, and repair services can be booked from other categories, maintenance services for wicks must be booked under the Crochet/Wicks category.
after care
To maintain healthy results, you should professionally maintain your crochet or wick style every 2 to 3 months. Cleanse your scalp every two weeks, oil your hair once or twice a week, and always wear a bonnet at night to protect your crown. Detoxing is recommended once or twice a year to prevent buildup and support long-term scalp health. I’ll always let you know if any adjustments are needed in your routine based on your scalp and hair condition. Staying consistent between appointments is key to keeping your look strong and fresh.
how to book
To book, head to the Book Online page and select the Crochet/Wicks category. Choose the service you need—whether it's a crochet retwist or wick maintenance—then select your hair length. Once selected, the earliest available appointments will be shown; choose the best time for your schedule and pay the deposit to confirm.
